HELLO, I'M HEATHER

I was born and raised in beautiful Alpena, Michigan. Left for almost 20 years and now I am back!

My husband and I met in college, which led to me living on our farm in Litchville, North Dakota. I am a proud farm wife, to a hardworking grain farmer, Ben.  I am a girl mom to our three little beauties, Blake, Willow & Penelope, who keep my life wild! 

I have a degree in photojournalist from Central Michigan University.  I started my own business in 2015 to spend my time doing what I love.  I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember, and so happy to share my passion with you!

I am most passionate about capturing real moments, true feelings, and all the “in the moment” interaction. Whether that is laughing, crying, singing, dancing, hugging, or kissing... I want you in your natural state because realness is the best.

The biggest compliment I could receive is you looking at your photos and saying, "That is us, she really captured us." I want everyone to look and feel their best, so I also love to help with styling suggestions. I am here to connect with you, assist in whatever way I can, and most importantly take some amazing photos of you!
